A Capacity Building Seminar on Open Government, e-Government, Anticorruption and Transparency was held at the MENA-OECD Governance Programme Centre of Caserta from 20 to 23 May 2014 and was attended by government officials and policy makers from Libyan ministries and government agencies.

The objective of the four day seminar was to provide participants with a deeper understanding of how transparency, accountability, open government and ICT instruments can be integrated for a more effective functioning of government institutions. The event promoted integrated knowledge sharing and served as platform to further design and implement knowledge in the designated areas and sustain policy dialogue beyond this event.

The seminar involved distinguished Italian and international professors and experts with institutional capacity building and training experience in transparency fight of corruption, integrity, open government and e-government. They shared their own experiences in the field throughout the seminar sessions and analyzed case studies brought up by the participants.
